I always know I’ve found a new idol when I’m jealous of someone’s work. Michele Angelo (nice name) produces some extraordinary work. My particular favourites are the numbers. They have a certain Disney feel to them, on top of their purely fantastical essence. I love how every piece fits together in a squashed manner, much like the ‘Cream Creatures’ where pigeons and koala bears intertwine as well as elephants and penguins. There are some bizarrely wonderful images here.
